I attended OSH as a sixth former from 2011 until 2013, studying economics, politics and psychology. I had a brilliant time at OSH and got involved as much as I could, taking part in European Youth Parliament, Potter House prefect duties and a memorable netball tour to Malta. After OSH I achieved a 1st Class degree in Politics from Newcastle University and an MSc from the University of Birmingham. I am now beginning a PhD in the Politics of Nuclear Weapons at the University of Birmingham that is being funded by the Economic Social research Council.
I joined the OFA after attending the last two annual dinners which were lots of fun, but poorly attending by younger OFA members. I am hoping I can bring a young perspective to the committee, to encourage uptake from recent OSH graduates and that together we can ensure the successful future of the OFA!
